Slow food really fast

How I helped a small business owner position her startup brand and sell slow food at the touch of a button

Hat tip for brand identity, tagline, and all design to Eric Kass, Funnel.tv

Project Story

With a visual identity, tagline, and misc. design assets in place, a design collaborator referred his client, Lauren Condell to me for product marketing, messaging strategy, and creative copywriting services.

My approach included a longer, adjective-rich sentence structure filled with mouth-watering descriptions. The approach is unrushed, implies feelings of fullness and luxury, and gives customers plenty of reasons to say, “Yes. I want that.”

Contributions:

  • Brand positioning and big idea: “The purest pleasure is a well-made meal.”

  • Brand voice development

  • Messaging strategy and reasons to believe (RTBs)

  • Product marketing including buyer persona development

  • Copywriting (direct-to- consumer) for product descriptions, brand and sales environments, social media, swag, email marketing, and video scripting and storyboarding

  • UX Copy (web and app)

About Front Forty Foods

Front Forty Foods was a food/tech startup that brought clean eaters and conscious foodies slow food at the touch of a button. Every morning, chefs prepared fresh, farm-to-table sweets and savories for folks who pre-ordered their meals via desktop and mobile app.

Meals were delivered via self-serve kiosks in Denver, CO.
